Mental Health Support
Soluna by Kooth - Mental Health Support for 11-25 Year Olds in Derbyshire
About
Soluna by Kooth is the next chapter of the trusted, safe, and free mental health support that Kooth has been providing to young people for over 25 years. It’s a carefully planned evolution of the Kooth service, designed to make accessing help even easier and more flexible for children and young people. Available as a mobile app or through our website, and with no waiting lists or referrals, Soluna gives young people a trusted space to find the right support for them. Here’s what the service offers: Real, professional support: our one-to-one text chats are accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and delivered by qualified practitioners – never chatbots. Sessions are available every single day, including weekends Expert resources: the platform is packed with interactive stories, activities, and tools to help young people manage issues like stress, anxiety, or low mood. Every piece of content is written by clinical experts and carries the PIF TICK quality mark, meaning it is evidence-based, up-to-date, and easy to understand. An age-appropriate and safe space: content and peer spaces are age-gated so young people only see material suitable for them. Our community spaces are pre-moderated by real people who review every single word before it’s published, and users cannot privately message each other. Whether you are feeling worried, low, or overwhelmed or just need to share what’s on your mind, Soluna - provided in partnership with local NHS services and councils - is a free, safe space you can turn to for support.
